Phoenix Recovery Inc. is a nonprofit behavioral health agency located in Central Ohio, dedicated to serving women recovering from trauma, addiction, and systemic barriers such as incarceration, homelessness, and sex trafficking. Laura Nye is a licensed clinical social worker and substance use disorder specialist with over a decade of experience serving women impacted by addiction, homelessness, and trauma. As the founder and Executive Director of Phoenix Recovery Inc., she blends professional expertise with compassionate leadership. Laura holds multiple degrees in social work and psychology and is completing her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. Her leadership style is grounded in ethical integrity, systemic advocacy, and trauma-informed care.
Amanda Stahl brings more than four years of experience in substance use recovery, peer support supervision, and trauma-informed care. With active licensure as a social worker and CDCA, and advanced certifications in Peer Recovery (CPRS-S) and Family Peer Support (CFPS-S), Amanda leads operations and program development at Phoenix Recovery Inc. She has extensive experience in counseling, supervision, and harm reduction outreach, and is known for her client advocacy and ethical leadership. Amanda is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and has been accepted to the MSW program at The Ohio State University.
